Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations must be sent in writing to CORILA (by e-mail: littoral2008@corila.it or by fax: +39.041.2402513). The registration fee will be refunded as follows:
- Cancellations received before 20th August the full fee will be reimbursed less (€ 50,00 + 20% vat for administrative expenses)
- Cancellations received after 20th August and before 25th October will receive the 50% of the fee (less € 50,00 + 20% vat for administrative expenses)
- Cancellations received after 25th October the registration fee will not be reimbursed
Due to accounting reasons, any refund will be given after the end of the Conference.
Changes in the name of the Participant are allowed and must be addressed either by fax or e-mail to the Organizing Secretariat (fax: +39.041.2402513, e-mail: littoral2008@corila.it)
Privacy safeguarding
The registration form requires you to provide to the Conference Secretariat personal information, which includes your name, title, address, phone, fax and e-mail address (Contact Information) and also your dietary requirements (if any), that constitutes a sensitive information.
The Conference Secretariat , managing this information, is bound by the Italian Privacy law n. 196/2006.
Therefore, personal data are managed according to the methods and within the limits stated in this law and will not be divulged or communicated out of the limits stated below and explicitly accepted by the participant.
Note
In order to present a paper, at least one registration as "Participant" per paper is requested
The admission to all the conference rooms is granted to all Participants and Students
The admisssion to the lunch room is reserved only to Participants (no Student)
Information on VISA
It is the responsibility of the participants to obtain a correct passport and VISA to enter Italy. The documents you need depend upon the country you are coming from. These are mere guidelines, for further information contact the Italian Embassy in your country (List of Italian Embassies and Consulates).
On 26 October 1997 Italy joined the Schengen system. If you are citizen of countries adhering to the Schengen area you need only your identification card. Citizens of countries out of the Schengen area are required to have: a valid passport or equivalent travel documents - documents substantiating the purpose and the conditions of the planned visit - a valid entry or transit visa, if required (Table of countries that require a visa).For further information on passport and visa visit the website of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (www.esteri.it).
Letter of invitation
Upon request, and only after the acceptance of your paper and/or Conference Registration (including the payment of registration fees), we will send you an official letter of invitation to use in support of your visa application. Request should be addressed to the Conference Secretariat, at the following mail address littoral2008@corila.it.
Please clearly state:
- your full name and home address
- your date and place of birth
- your passport information (passport number, date, place of issue and validity)
- registration number and if you are an author of paper the full title of your paper
- purpose of the visit with the expected duration of stay and your hotel accommodation in Venice
